Crab Loaf

Try something new with
fresh Jonah Crab!
Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 chopped green onion
  • 1 lb jonah crab meat
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients. Cut top off loaf like you would a pumpkin and pull out all of the bread from the inside of the loaf, being careful not to pull a hole in the crust. Set bread aside. Pour dip into loaf and return lid. Wrap in tinfoil and bake at 300 F for 2 hours. Pull remaining bread into individual pieces for dipping and serve with loaf. There won’t be enough bread so you should also serve some crackers or bread sticks (or both).
