Having Lobster, Crab or Steak for dinner?
Allow me to make a few suggestions for matching your steak or seafood dinner with the perfect wine. Our resident wine expert makes these recommendations.
For Lobster or Crab, go with a White Wine:
Champagne – The Bubbly! Choose Sec or Demi-Sec for sweet, Brut for dry
Sauvignon Blanc – Dry with citrus fruit notes, slightly smoky
Pinot Gris – Clean and crisp, refreshing
Chardonnay – Smooth and slightly dry with citrus notes
For Steak, try any of these Red Wines:
Cabernet Sauvignon – Dark, deep & rich, with berry fruit
Red Bordeaux – A blend of grapes, deep in color with an oakey finish
Merlot – Smooth, elegant & soft, hints of chocolate & berry
